The Real Deal report says – India’s Richest Man “Mukesh Ambani” also the (Chairman of Reliance Industries) has paid the USD 17.4 million (Rs 150Cr)for the Tribeca neighborhood which is located in 11 Hubert, Street in Tribeca, New York city. This Purchase by Reliance Billionaire “Mukesh Ambani” comes two years after he sold his two-bedroom condo in downtown New York city for $9 million. According to Forbes, Mukesh Ambani’s current net worth is approximately $104 billion as of 14th Sept 2025 which makes him the Asia’s Richest man.

The ‘Tribeca building‘ was owned by the Tech Billionaire ‘Robert Pera’ who is the Chairman & CEO of ‘Ubiquity’, bought the building for about $20 million in 2018, according to Curbed report. Now, Mukesh Ambani’s US arm Reliance Industries Limited (RIL USA) has acquired the property by paying little less amount than what Tech Billionaire – ‘Robert Pera’ has paid for it in 2018.

After 2018 Purchase, Robert Pera hired the New York based architect Eric Cobb to design & convert the building into a mansion spanning over 17,000 sq.ft. However, the mansion were never built because of after 3 Years, he decided to sell the property.
In 2021, Robert Pera who owned the ‘Tribeca building’ reviewed the site along with all the approved plans, which included an old $25 million proposal from Cobb’s and Maya Lin Studio.
The Listing of the Property describes, an exceptionally rare offering for an end user to build a family mansion in an A+ location in the heart of Tribeca.
